The first Apple was designed by Steve Wozniak. His friend Steve Jobs had the idea of selling the computer. Exhibited at Homebrew Computer Club in April 1976 and went on sale in July 1976 at a price of $666.66. About 200 30-chip units were assembled. However, users had to add case, power supply, keyboard & display. A cassete interface for storage was released later at $75.
